Empowering Latinx physicians, medical professionals and medical students through education, advocacy & health policy to support their efforts to eliminate health disparity, promote and optimize health and the quality of life for Latinx in California.
In collaboration with Dr Alvaro Garza, we plan to share a collection of Latinx health-related poetry at the 2019 APHA conference! This is a great opportunity for you to share and showcase your poetry or other creative writing. Dr. Garza is also willing to collaborate and co-author poems.
WHAT: Submit a poem, or more, that relates to Latinx health (to: lcph1973@gmail.com). It should be original, could be poetry or prose, bilingual, or full English or Spanish, and no more than about 400 words.
WHEN: Deadline is May 31, 2019
