As the new year quickly approaches, National Hispanic Medical Association is thrilled to be recruiting our 2022 class of Leadership Fellows. The NHMA Leadership Fellowship program provides mid-career physicians dedicated to improving Hispanic health with weekly executive leadership training sessions and a week-long trip to Washington, D.C., with travel and lodging expenses covered.
We humbly ask that you share this opportunity with your networks and anyone you think would be a good fit for the program. You know better than anyone what makes a good leader, and we hope that we can count on your support to direct us to the next generation of leaders committed to serving the Latino community.
- Physicians wo are at least 5 years out of training
- Documented leadership experience
- Commitment to serving the Latinx community
- Strong interest in public health leadership at national and regional levels
- Must attend all virtual weekly training sessions in May, June and July, as well as one week in person attendance in Washington, DC – the third week of September 2022 (travel and hotel covered)
- In order to be considered, please submit your personal statement, CV and letter of recommendation.
Program Duration: May 2022 to March 2023
