- Conflict Prevention Skills
- The Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study
- Impact of ACEs on Children and Adults
- Creating Trauma-Sensitive Classrooms & Workplaces
- Mitigating the Effects of ACEs

This small group workshop builds on what you will learn or have learned in our monthly “Intro” webinars: if you have not yet done so, we strongly encourage you to attend the free webinars so that you have a solid understanding of the basics and are ready to dive deeper into NVC and Trauma work.
If you have already attended one of these special workshops in 2021, you will not need to attend again, as the material is the same for all of 2021. In 2022, however, we will be presenting a new workshop, so keep following us for updates!
This live training will be taught by Michael Jascz, the Executive Director of The Relationship Foundation, which has been actively working in New York City schools for the past 10 years to introduce the Trauma-Informed Approach to teachers and Nonviolent Communication to students. TRF’s work has expanded beyond schools and is now used in health care settings, corrections facilities, various social service organizations, and more.
The program and assignments include:
- Two 120 minute lectures
- Reading materials (provided)
- Videos (provided)
- Group Exercises
- Group Discussion
At the end of the two 120 minute workshop sessions and upon completion of all assignments, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance in Trauma Responsive and Empathic Communication Practices.
COST IS $90 for the two session workshop.
