Empowering Latinx physicians, medical professionals and medical students through education, advocacy & health policy to support their efforts to eliminate health disparity, promote and optimize health and the quality of life for Latinx in California.
Drs. Juan Guerra and Jose Arevalo are joined by keynote speaker and founder of Latinas Contra Cancer Ysabel Duron at the 2014 Latino Health Conference—hosted by the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group, the U.C. Davis Health System and the Latino Physicians of California. More than 30 health leaders presented the latest in Latino health care issues—from caring for the undocumented to bridging language barriers in the exam room. More than 300 participants learned strategies for delivering better care to Latino patients.
