(May 19, 2022) – Blue Shield of California today announced it will invest $7 million over five years for a new fellowship program at UC Berkeley School of Public Health to support graduate students from underrepresented communities. Applications for the 2021–2022 fellowship year are currently being accepted for this one-year, degree-granting, full-time program. Physicians from groups that are historically underrepresented in medicine are particularly encouraged to apply.
